Little Angels- newborn and children’s photography by Tracy Bodeo; Bethlehem, Easton, Allentown, Lehigh Valley portrait photographer

I just realized that I never posted any of the portraits I took of these beautiful little angels!  I was hired to do an on-location newborn and big sister session by the girls’ mom and we had a great time working both inside and out around their home.  My newborn sessions are almost always done on-location, in the baby’s home.  This allows both baby and mom to be comfortable and have all the necessary items at hand to keep baby happy.  Sessions often take two to three hours because of the all the feeding and diaper-changing involved, but it’s always worth the extra time and effort.

“You know you think I’m adorable!”:

Do you remember Rocky II?  The little baby born to Adrian and Rocky had a full head of hair and I always thought that was so adorable!  My little ones didn’t get much hair until they were a few years old, but this baby girl, like Rocky Jr., was born with lots of gorgeous locks!  Not only is she beautiful, but she was such a little angel to work with.  Here are a few of my favorites from our session.

This little guy was such a joy to work with.  I got some nice, serious images, but baby was also happy to show off his smile, especially when he was looking at mommy!  Of course baby’s beautiful big (furry) sister also took part in the session.

Look at this little doll!  I got to spend a few hours with her when she was only 10 days old.  Newborn sessions, like this one, are done on-location in the baby’s home to keep mom and baby as comfy as possible.  All necessary studio equipment is brought in.  In-home sessions also makes it easier for mom to take care of baby when she starts to fuss.

This sweetie pie did a great job posing between naps, eating, being changed and yes, occasionally letting us know that she did not want to stay still in the basket any longer!  (See the third picture below).  Don’t worry, we never let her cry for more than a moment!

I love being around young babies and I am always thrilled when I am asked to do a newborn/infant session.  It is such a special, fleeting time in a family’s life and it is a pleasure to be able to capture the moment.  Mom wanted a flowery photo so that’s just what I gave her… what a beautiful bouquet!  Then take a look at the tutu on this adorable little one….

I thought it would be nice posting a few images of this adorable little baby before and just a few days after he was born.  I love being around newborns… their tiny, wrinkly feet, their lamb-like cry… makes me wish I could go back in time when mine were just little mushes in my arms!
