Tracy Bodeo Photography has relocated to Greenville, SC!

After 14 wonderful years in the beautiful Lehigh Valley of PA, my children and I decided that it was time for a new adventure in life– and so we relocated to the equally beautiful town of Greenville, SC. I have been quite busy settling in, working and exploring the Greenville area. But soon enough summer will arrive making time for additional portrait photography! I look forward to getting to know more families and pets of the Upstate.

If you are interested in an on-location (at a local park or in your home or yard) pet or family portrait session, feel free to get in touch via phone or email. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have or set up a session. I am available weekends and afternoon/evenings during the week. In the meantime you can get to know me a little better by checking out my main tracy bodeo photography website and can see some of my work by clicking here: tbp Galleries.

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter!

Bethlehem, PA’s Team Identity on Disney’s “Make Your Mark!”; Results show 8 pm tonight!; portrait photography by Tracy Bodeo

Last month I was contacted by one of Disney’s advertising agencies to set up a portrait session with Team Identity, a Bethlehem, PA dance crew who was auditioning for Disney Channel’s “Make Your Mark!”  Kids from across the country submit videos of themselves dancing, with the hopes of making it as one of the top 6 finalists.  The top 6 are invited out to California to compete live on the show.  Team Identity consists of three amazing, self-taught, hip-hop, teen dancers from right here is the Lehigh Valley.  In September, after submitting several audition videos, Team Identity‘s Xavier, Jay & Faustino were notified that would be heading out to CA as one of the 6 finalists! The formal announcement was made in Bethlehem’s Liberty High School!

This past Friday night, October 19th, 2012, Team Identity, along with 5 other dance groups, competed on “Make Your Mark!” by performing two different dances.  The first dance was the dancer’s own original choice.  The second dance was based on a theme and the dancers were aided by (So You Think You Can Dance’s) choreographer Chris Scott.  All 6 dance groups did a nice job with both dances, but I definitely thought Team Identity was the best!

At the end of the show, after the three judges conferred, it was revealed that Team Identity was one of the three groups chosen to come back to the results show tonight, Sunday, October 21st!  They looked so happy and excited when the announcement was made!  The voting could then begin.  Each of the 3 groups was assigned a phone number and you could call, text or vote online for at least two hours after the show.  The three remaining finalists will come back to the results show tonight and the big winner will be revealed!  Go Team Identity!  My family voted as much as possible and I really hope they got the votes they deserve from everyone else to win.

Team Identity was the only group of the six that has not received formal dance training.  Their self-developed talent and love of dance brought the crew together and made them the awesome group they are.  They are hard workers who dance in the hallways of school or in random outdoor spaces, instead of in a studio with dance instructors and choreographers. This makes me hope they win this thing even more!

I also want to add that not only are Jay, Faustino and Xavier of Team Identity incredible dancers, but they are really nice guys.  It was a pleasure to work with them during our portrait session and so exciting to hear the news that they were finalists on the show!  Here are a few of the images from our session:

Fun at the Fetching Pet Portraits Fundraiser; tracy bodeo photography at AVH Veterinary Group

Our second annual Fetching Fundraiser took place at AVH Veterinary Group on February 5th, 2012.  The images were posted online shortly after the event, but I am still receiving the final choices of what to print by clients who purchased the portrait packages that raised money for the Center for Animal Health and Welfare.  In all, we raised $2003.00 for the Center, the majority of which came from the portraits, but an additional $400.00+ came from our raffle.  Several dogs from the Center were there to greet customers (in the hopes of finding their own homes) and AVH also ran a puppy playgroup during the event– what a crowd we had!  All the dogs who participated in the event seemed to have a great time!

Below are a few pictures taken during the event (courtesy of Bob Thompson) and then some of my favorite client portraits from the event.  Thank you to all these gorgeous dogs who helped raise money for the homeless animals at the shelter!

“Happiness is turning 2!” Children’s portraits by tracy bodeo photography; Lehigh Valley, PA

Check out this adorable little boy….  His photo session actually took place on his 2nd birthday.  All we needed to do to get him to cooperate was promise him a cupcake!

Beautiful Baby Girl; newborn/infant photography by Tracy Bodeo; Lehigh Valley baby photographer

Do you remember Rocky II?  The little baby born to Adrian and Rocky had a full head of hair and I always thought that was so adorable!  My little ones didn’t get much hair until they were a few years old, but this baby girl, like Rocky Jr., was born with lots of gorgeous locks!  Not only is she beautiful, but she was such a little angel to work with.  Here are a few of my favorites from our session.

“Rosey” wins Merit Award from PSA & Honorable Mention from NJFCC; portrait photography by Tracy Bodeo of Bethlehem, PA

I was very pleased to find out that one of my images {“Rosey”) from a studio session this fall won a Merit Award from the Photographic Society of America (PSA).  The image was also just awarded an Honorable Mention by the New Jersey Federation of Camera Clubs.  In both competitions the image was entered into the Pictorial category, which is a digital competition that covers a little of everything.  I am always pleasantly surprized when a studio Portrait wins an award mixed in a group with beautiful landscapes, interesting street photography & amazing nature & macro work.  My image received a 14 out of 15 points (in the PSA competition), which means that the judges must have been very happy with both its technical quality and its overall impact/presentation.  Of course, having this beautiful girl as the subject certainly doesn’t hurt!

“Storyboards” now available in three sizes and two mounts; tracy bodeo photography of Bethlehem, PA

“Storyboards” by tracy bodeo photography are now available in 10×20, 11×14 and 12×12.  Storyboards are a great way to tell the story of your portrait session or special event.  Each storyboard displays between 3 and 12 images and are beautifully mounted as a lustre print (with a protective finish) or a Metal print (high gloss or satin finish).  Metal prints are delivered ready to hang.  Mounted lustre prints can be framed and hung with or without glass/acrylic.  Here are two samples from a recent portrait session… visit the Portrait Design Gallery on my website to see more.
