Now’s your chance to get your adorable pet’s picture on a calendar and help raise money for the Center for Animal Health & Welfare! Our 2013 Pet Calendar will be celebrating the CAHW’s 100 years in operation and will feature 12 “pets of the month” as large (~8×8″ – 8×10″) images as well as lots of smaller images of your pets throughout the calendar. All proceeds from this project go to the animals at the Center.
A $250 donation gets you a professional, on-location portrait session with tracy bodeo photography, your pet as one of the featured pets and a free calendar. Or you can send me your own picture of your pet with a $30.00 donation and your pet will appear as one of our ~1×1.5″ images somewhere on the “grid” part of our calendar. You will also receive a free calendar. If you have already had your pet’s portrait taken by tracy bodeo photography, there is one additional option for getting your image on the calendar– please contact me for details.
So the project has begun! Contact me now– spaces will go fast! All photography and image submissions will be due by September. Calendars will be printed and ready for purchase by November. For details on how to book your session or send in your own image, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our second annual Fetching Fundraiser took place at AVH Veterinary Group on February 5th, 2012. The images were posted online shortly after the event, but I am still receiving the final choices of what to print by clients who purchased the portrait packages that raised money for the Center for Animal Health and Welfare. In all, we raised $2003.00 for the Center, the majority of which came from the portraits, but an additional $400.00+ came from our raffle. Several dogs from the Center were there to greet customers (in the hopes of finding their own homes) and AVH also ran a puppy playgroup during the event– what a crowd we had! All the dogs who participated in the event seemed to have a great time!
Below are a few pictures taken during the event (courtesy of Bob Thompson) and then some of my favorite client portraits from the event. Thank you to all these gorgeous dogs who helped raise money for the homeless animals at the shelter!
UPDATE: The Miller Heights Tricky Tray was a big success, raising a large chunk of cash for the school. And with all the proposed budget cuts, every penny counts! Thanks to all who came out to the event to show their support and thank you to all the volunteers who put forth such a tremendous effort to make the event successful.
Come to the Tricky Tray at Miller Heights Elementary School on April 9th, 2011 for a chance to win one of two tracy bodeo photography $50.00 gift certificates and many other great prizes. This event is one of the school’s biggest fundraisers and will run from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. Winning tickets will be drawn and announced starting at 4:00 pm.
The 2010 “shelter dogs and cats” Holiday cards are now available for purchase. I have put together 6 different styles featuring a few of residents at the Center for Animal Health & Welfare. The 5×7 folded cards can be purchased at the Center or by special order. They come as a set of 12 (two of each design) for $24.00 or you can order one pack of 25 cards in your favorite style for $46.00. All proceed go to the animals at the Center. Please feel free to contact me by phone 484-225-3143 or via email email@example.com to place an order. The animals thank you for your support!

I am happy to announce that our first ever Forever Fetching Pet Portrait fundraiser was a great success. Thank you to the AVH Veterinary Group for hosting the event which benefitted the Center for Animal Health and Welfare. AVH covered the expenses and advertising for the event while I provided the photographic services. The event would not have been possible without all the help from volunteers Sally Master, Dr. Dymond and Kelly from AVH as well as fellow photographer Robert Thompson and AVH friend Debbie.
We had a great time working with so many wonderful dogs and their families. Countless hours (and lots of tasty dog treats!) were put into the event and thousands of images were taken to provide the best possible end product for the participants and raise money for the Center for Animal Health and Welfare. Over that weekend, I photographed 25 dogs (plus the AVH mascot Clyde the cat!) and in the end we collected $1636.00 and collected a bunch of dog food, cat food and kitty litter! There are SO many animals at the Center that need care; it is nice we were able to help out a little.
I am now in the process of editing and printing the images for the participants. Here are a few of our favorites so far:
“Forever Fetching Pet Portraits” by tracy bodeo photography will be coming to the AVH Veterinary Group in Pen Argyl, PA on September 11th (1-5 pm) and 12th (10am-5pm) 2010 to participate in a fundraiser on behalf of the Center for Animal Health and Welfare. We are very excited about this event and hoping for a big turn-out! We are now taking appointments for pet portrait mini-sessions and our goal is to raise a big chunk of cash (and collect some dog food and cat litter as well) for the Center.
There are 3 different packages to choose from (see below) and opportunities to upgrade each of them. ALL proceeds go directly to the animals at the Center for Animal Health and Welfare. This is a wonderful chance to be a part of a terrific cause. There are a limited number of appointments available, so book your session today! You can make your appointment for one of our Sept.11/12th Forever Fetching Pet Portrait mini-sessions by calling AVH at 610-863-7111.
